SIMPOSIUM NASIONAL ANALISIS MATEMATIKA DAN APLIKASINYA V
pada hari Sabtu tanggal 21 April 2012. Adapun deskripsi dan
tema kegiatan adalah sebagai berikut:
Deskripsi dan Tema Kegiatan
Simposium Nasional Analisis Matematika dan Aplikasinya
diselenggarakan setiap tahun oleh Komunitas Analisis
Matematika Indonesia. Pada tahun 2012, Prodi Matematika,
Jurusan MIPA, Fakultas Sains dan Teknik Universitas Jenderal
Soedirman Purwokerto menjadi tuan rumah untuk
penyelenggaraan Simposium Analisis Matematika dan
Aplikasinya yang kelima. Simposium akan diadakan pada
tanggal 21 April 2012 bertempat di gedung Jurusan
Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam Universitas Jenderal
Soedirman.
Sebagai salah satu cabang ilmu Matematika, Analisis
Matematika tidak hanya menjadi fondasi bagi pengembangan
cabang-cabang ilmu Matematika yang lain tetapi juga menjadi
fondasi bagi pengembangan berbagai ilmu pengetahuan dan
teknologi. Oleh karena itu, Simposium
Nasional Analisis Matematika dan Aplikasinya yang ke-5
bertema ā€¯Meningkatkan Peran Analisis Matematika sebagai
Fondasi untuk Pengembangan IPTEKā€¯. Melalui simposium
ini diharapkan para matematikawan dapat menyebarluaskan
hasil-hasil penelitian di bidang Analisis Matematika dan
aplikasinya serta membangun jaringan dan sinergi antara
peneliti, lembaga pendidikan dan industri.

EASIAM 2012 gathers researchers in applied mathematics with respect to
science, engineering and technology. The scope of the conference covers all
aspects of applied mathematics to science, industry, engineering and technology
in the East and South East Asia. Previous EASIAM conferences were held in Hong
Kong (1st), Sapporo (2nd), Xiamen (3rd), Daejeon (4th), Brunei (5th), Kuala
Lumpur (6th), and Kitakyushu (7th).
EASIAM is a section of Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). It
promotes basic research and education in mathematics, which supports science and
technology.

The Asian Mathematical Conference 2013 will take place in
Busan, Korea, from June 30, Sunday through July 4, Thursday,
2013.
The AMC series is a major SEAMS conference, held every 4-5
years since 1990, and hosted by countries in Asia. The First
AMC was held in Hong Kong (1990), the Second in Thailand
(1995), the Third in the Philippines (2000), the Fourth in
Singapore (2005), and the latest was Malaysia (2009). And it
is the first time in its history that the AMC to be hosted
in East Asia in 2013.
The objective of the conference is to provide a forum for
mathematics researchers from Asia to foster links and
collaboration among themselves and with mathematicians from
other parts of the world through the discussion of issues,
exchange of ideas and the presentation of research findings.

DESKRIPSI DAN TEMA KEGIATAN:
Konferensi Nasional Matematika merupakan kegiatan rutin yang
diselenggarakan sejak tahun 1976 oleh IndoMS bekerjasama
dengan Jurusan Matematika di berbagai Perguruan Tinggi di
Indonesia. Sejak tahun 2000 KNM diselenggarakan setiap dua
tahun sekali secara bergiliran. Pada tahun 2012 Konferensi
Nasional Matematika merupakan konferensi yang ke-16.
Konferensi tersebut akan diselenggarakan di Jurusan
Matematika FMIPA Universitas Padjadjaran pada tanggal 3-6
Juli 2012. KNM ke-16 tahun 2012 merupakan Konferensi yang
diselenggarakan oleh Jurusan Matematika Unpad untuk kedua
kalinya setelah penyelenggaraan yang pertama pada tahun
1991.
Perkembangan Matematika yang semakin pesat, baik dalam
proses pembelajaran maupun dalam pengembangan penelitian dan
penerapannya, perlu dikomunikasikan dalam bentuk konferensi.
Tujuan diadakannya KNM XVI ini adalah untuk mendiseminasikan
dan mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian tersebut di atas.
Pada penyelenggaraan tahun ini, KNM XVI mengangkat tema
“Matematika sebagai Bahtera Pendidikan untuk Mencerdaskan
Kehidupan Bangsa”. Konferensi tersebut terbuka bagi dosen,
guru, peneliti, pengguna, pemerhati dan penggemar matematika
di seluruh Indonesia untuk mempresentasikan hasil-hasil
penelitiannya.
Bentuk Kegiatan:
I. Studium Generale; kuliah umum oleh Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad M.
Ramli, S.H., M.H., FCBArb (Direktur Jenderal HKI) dan Prof.
Dr. Edy Soewono (KKMIK-ITB).
II. Sidang Pleno; presentasi makalah oleh pakar Matematika
dan Pendidikan Matematika dari dalam dan luar negeri.
III. Sidang Paralel; presentasi para pemakalah yang
dinyatakan diterima untuk presentasi oleh panitia dalam 9
kelompok di atas.
IV. Kongres IndoMS; pertemuan seluruh anggota IndoMS untuk
memilih kepengurusan baru periode 2012-2014.

The organizers of the OR 2012
conference are glad to invite you to this conference to
be held in Hannover, Germany, from September 4-7, 2012.
We have chosen a rich and exiting
main topic: "Energy, Markets and Mobility"
The OR 2012 conference in Hannover
will address these topics from an OR perspective,
treating them not only in isolation, but also with
respect to their numerous and exciting interconnections,
such as:

concepts
* New market mechanisms for
sustainable energy production
to name but a few. We will draw on
the vast local expertise to organize an exciting and

of Spatial Sciences Groningen University (Belanda) akan
mengadakan workshop Spatial Structural Equation Models
(Spatial SEM). Bidang ini sangat berguna untuk para peneliti
dalam ilmu-ilmu sosial, ekonomi, lingkungan hidup, kesehatan,
epidemiologi, dan banyak lagi yang sering memodelkan
peubah-peubah latent (latent variables) dan spatial effect.
Workshop akan diadakan pada tg 17-20 September 2012 di Ruang
Mawar SPs IPB, Kampus IPB Baranangsiang, Bogor.
Berhubung tempat terbatas, penerimaan peserta akan
menggunakan prinsip first-come-first served, selain
komposisi pendaftar. Ibu/Bapak yang berminat mengirim staf
atau mahasiswa untuk mengikuti pelatihan ini, silakan segera
mendaftar. Catatan: bahasa pengantar dalam workshop adalah
